Beasty Brothers is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy.

This privacy policy applies to the use of our online store, purchases made through the online store, visits to our physical store in Meppel, and contact via email, phone, or social media. Our online store is hosted by Shopify.

We process personal data necessary to provide our services. This includes, among other things, name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, payment details (via Shopify Payments, iDEAL, or credit card), and order and transaction details.

When you visit our website, we may process data such as your IP address, browser and device information, and information about your use of the website via cookies and analytics tools. When you contact us, we process the information you provide.

We use personal data to process and ship orders, provide customer service and communication, process payments, comply with legal administrative obligations, and improve our online store. In addition, we may use data for limited marketing purposes, such as online advertising. We do not currently send out a newsletter. If we offer a newsletter in the future, this will only be done with your prior consent.

We share personal data only when necessary for the provision of our services. Our online store runs on Shopify. Shopify processes personal data on our behalf and may store data outside the European Economic Area. Shopify complies with applicable privacy laws.

Payments are processed via Shopify Payments and its affiliated payment methods. For order shipping, we share your name, address, and contact information with Cycloon.

For analysis and limited advertising purposes, we use Google Analytics (via Shopify) and, to a limited extent, Meta/Instagram advertising services. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Our website uses functional cookies that are necessary for the webshop to function. In addition, we use analytical and limited marketing cookies. Upon your first visit to our website, we ask for your consent to place non-essential cookies.

We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Order data is retained for at least 7 years in connection with legal tax obligations. Contact requests are retained for as long as necessary to process them.

Within the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, data portability, and object to the processing of your personal data. A request can be submitted via contact@hirondellebikeshop.com. We will respond within the legal timeframe.

If you have a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data, please contact us. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Because we use Shopify and Google, personal data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, appropriate safeguards are implemented in accordance with the GDPR.
